Hamilton and published by Doubleday and Company, copyright 1961.  Hard cover 186 page book no. 19 in the series of books about the Hollister family and their adventures.  Collect all 33 books in the series.

Jerry West was a fictional name used by the Edward Startemeyer Syndicate as that of the author of the Happy Hollister series of children's mysteries. The name of the man who actually wrote the books was
Andrew E. Svenson.  Mr Svenson joined the Stratemeyer Syndicate in 1948. Prior to that, Mr. Svenson had been a newspaper reporter for the Newark Evening News. He was generally responsible for supervising the boys' series produced by the Syndicate, and was the creator and nearly sole author for the Happy Hollisters series (1953-1970), except for volume 30, which was written by another Syndicate employee, Grace Grote. Svenson also wrote volumes 43 (with Harriet Adams), and 49-52 in the Bobbsey Twins series.  Andrew Svenson wrote the HAPPY HOLLISTER series, basing the characters on his own children. The Svensons used the summer months for travel where Andrew gained ideas for new volumes in the series. He became a full partner in the Syndicate in 1961.

Book is in very fine condition.  Dust jacket incased in plastic cover so it is in beautiful condition also.
