Lovely Sarah Coventry brooch with an old country look to it.  Color was applied to goldtone textured surfaces to obtain a mosaic look.  The raised inner oval is small blue dots surrounded by gold starburst.  This in turn is surrounded by a red star design.   All this is set on black background with hints of gold.  Outer edge is heavy twisted gold tone rope.  Brooch is also designed to be worn with a necklace as a pendent when suspended from hook on back.  This beautiful brooch is 1 1/2" by 2" and in exquisite condition.
