He follows the development from the early days of imitative work through its high point in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries to its decline in the twenties and thirties. Nearly five hundred photographs and line drawings illustrate American Cut and Engraved Glass. 

497 page hard cover book with dust jacket.  Jacket has clipped corner and former owners name written on inside cover.  Pages are extremely clean as is cover.  Dust jacket has tears.  Excellent book for the serious student of glass.
